CHOLERA N etherlands. — On 19 January, three infants for adoption, ail less than six months of age, arrived by air from Indonesia. They were hospitalized the same day because of diarrhoea and dehydra tion. Vibrio cholerae, biotype eltor, serotype Inaba, was isolated from their stools. All close contacts were placed under surveillance and it is not considered that these three imported cases have any significance with respect to international travel.
CHOLÉRA P ays-Bas. — Le 19 janvier, trois enfants de moins de six mois envoyés pour adoption sont arrivés d ’Indonésie par avion. Le même jour, ils ont été hospitalisés pour diarrhée et déshydratation. Vibrio cholerae, biotype eltor, sérotype Inaba, a été isolé de leurs selles. Tous les contacts immédiats ont été mis sous surveillance. Ces trois cas importés ne sont pas considérés comme présentant de l’impor tance en ce qui concerne les voyages internationaux.
