I have the honour to extend an invitation to the Western Pacific Regional Committee of the World Health Organization to hold its 1973 meeting in Wellington, New Zealand and would be grateful i f you would bring this invitation to the attention of delegates to the Twenty-seoond session of the Regional Committee at its meeting later this year. I would, however, advise you /that in •••
WPft/RC22/16 page 2 that 1n view of its other commitments in 1973 the Government is anxious to ensure that the meeting should be held no later than its traditional date of September. I confirm in addition that the New Zealand Government is willing to meet the increased cost resulting from holding the Committee meeting away from the regional headquarters, in acoordance with paragraph 2 of resolution WHA9.20 adopted by the Ninth World Health Assembly.
