REPORT OF THE SUBCOMMITTEE ON CREDENTIALS The Subcommittee on Credentials met on 7 September 2004. The following were present: Representatives of: Nepal Sri Lanka Timor-Leste The representative from Sri Lanka was elected Chairman. The Subcommittee examined the credentials deposited by the representatives taking part in the fifty-seventh session of the Regional Committee. The credentials presented by those listed below were found to be in order, thus entitling them to take part in the work of the Regional Committee. The Subcommittee, therefore, proposes that the Regional Committee recognize the validity of the credentials presented by the representatives of: Bangladesh Bhutan Democratic People’s Republic of Korea India Indonesia Maldives Myanmar Nepal Sri Lanka Thailand The credentials received from the representative of Timor-Leste were submitted in photocopied form. The Subcommittee however, recommends that the Representative of Timor-Leste be requested to present original credentials as soon as possible and in the meantime, be permitted to take part in the work of the Regional Committee in all respects.
