Scale of assessments 2010–2011 Report by the Director-General
1. The Sixtieth World Health Assembly adopted a scale of assessments for 2008–2009 reflecting the application to WHO of the latest available United Nations scale.1 2. The latest available United Nations scale is the scale of assessments adopted in December 2006.2 It is therefore proposed that this United Nations scale should be used by WHO for the financial period 2010–2011. This is unchanged from the scale currently in use by WHO. 3. An updated United Nations scale is expected to be available in December 2009 and, in accordance with prior practice, the Sixty-third World Health Assembly, in 2010, may wish to propose the application of this updated scale for 2011, the second year of the biennium 2010–2011. 4. The Executive Board at its 124th session in 2009, proposed that the Health Assembly adopt the scale detailed below.3
ACTION BY THE HEALTH ASSEMBLY 5. The Sixty-second Health Assembly is invited to consider the draft resolution below for application for the financial period 2010–2011. The Sixty-second World Health Assembly, Considering that the latest United Nations scale continues to be the same as that for the financial period 2008–2009;
