WORLD HEALTH ORGllNIZAT ION REGIONAL COHHITTEE Fifth Session Manila 10-16 September 1954 REGIONAL OFFICE FOR THE v~STERN PACIFIC WP/RCS.R2 11 September 1954 ORIGINlu.: ENGLISH 1955 ~UID 1956 PROGRlI1-H AND BUDGET The Regional Committee, Knowing that there are uncertainties regarding the future amount and status of contributions to the UN Technical Assistance funds for 1955 and 1956 and subsequent years; Realizing that it is impossible to predict tha total amount of these funds that will be available for these years; Believing that because of the above circumstances the Regional Director should keep projects to be financed from UN Technical ~ssistance funds in 1955 and 1956 at the absolute minimum permissible under existing commitments to Governments; DIRECTS the Regional Director to take note of these facts and be guided by them.
