Fifty-second and fifty-third sessions of the Regional Committee (Resolution)

18 REGIONAL COMMI1TEE: FIFIY-SECOND SESSION WPRlRC52.R8 FIFIY-THIRD AND FIFIY-FOURTH SESSIONS OF THE REGIONAL COMMI1TEE The Regional Committee, Mindful of the provision of resolution WPRlRC4I.RI5, which allows for the holding of sessions of the Regional Committee outside the regional headquarters for two consecutive years, without prejudice to the provision under resolution WPRlRC24.R I 0; 1. EXPRESSES its appreciation to the Government of Japan for confirming its offer to host the fifty-third session of the Regional Committee; 2. CONFIRMS that the fifty-third session will be held in Japan, provided a satisfactory agreement can be concluded between the Government and WHO by 31 March 2002; 3. DECIDES that the dates of the fifty-third session shall be from 16 to 20 September 2002. 4. CONFIRMS that the fifty-fourth session of the Regional Committee shall be held at the regional headquarters in Manila.
