OLYMPIC GAMES VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS The Canadian Health Administration and the Organizing Com mittee of the Olympic Games have confirmed that the vaccination certificate requirements during the period of the Games are those presently in force and which conform entirely to the International Health Regulations. A smallpox vaccination certificate is not required from any participant or visitor unless within the 14 days prior to entering Canada the person concerned has been in o r passed through a country any part of which has a smallpox infected area. As of 21 May, Ethiopia is the only country in which a smallpox infected area is believed to exist. Neither a cholera nor a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required on entry to Canada. All health administrations are requested to bring this information to the attention of their National Olympic Committees.
