JUNGLE YELLOW FEVER P araguay. — On 18 April one confirmed fatal case of jungle yellow fever was reported from Pedro Juan Caballero in Amambay Department, on the north-eastern border of the country. There were also eight suspected cases with two deaths from the same area. E ditorial N ote : This is the first notification o f yellow fever in Paraguay received by the Organization.
FIÈVRE JAUNE DE BROUSSE P araguay. — Le 18 avril un cas mortel confirmé de fièvre jaune de brousse a été signalé à Pedro Juan Caballero dans le Département d ’Amambay, à la frontière nord-est du pays. On a aussi enregistré dans le même secteur huit cas suspects dont deux mortels. N ote de la R édaction : Il s’agit de la première notification de fièvre jaune au Paraguay reçue par l’Organisation.
