INFLUENZA SURVEILLANCE A rgentina (14 July 1979). — An increase in the incidence of acute respiratory tract infections has been observed since early June in the general population of Côrdoba. The disease is relatively mild. Twelve strains of virus A (H1N1) have been identified. All were isolated from children aged 5 to 14 years.
SURVEILLANCE DE LA GRIPPE A rgentine (14 juillet 1979). — On observe depuis début juin une augmentation de l’incidence des infections aiguës des voies respira toires dans la population de Côrdoba. L ’affection est relativement bénigne. On a identifié jusqu’ici 12 souches de virus A (H1N1) qui provenaient toutes d ’enfants âgés de 5 à 14 ans.
