Asamoah Date :1993 I 2 ST]MMARY Fron 4th to llth November ' L993, the Natlonal Oncho Team of Ghana ln collaboratlon wlth techntclans from OCP/Ouaga undertake epldeurlologlcal eva- luatlon of 5 endemlc vlllages (Dogonkade, Buaduhlle, Akundlpe, Jagbeni and Yakpala) ln the Daka River Basln 1n the Northern Reglon of Ghana. A total of 1130 people were censueed out of which 704 (representLng 62.32) were skln snlpped and only 51 representing 7,242 proved positive wlth nlcrofllarla. CONCLUSION The prevalence rate of 7.247" ls very encouraglng and ls further proof of the success of larvlclding and Ivermect,i.n treatment ln the OCP area.
