RESOLUTIONS ADOPTED BY THE COMMiTTEE WPR/RC22.Rl ANNUAL REPORT OF THE REGIONAL DIRECTOR The Regional Committee, Having considfred the Twenty-first Annual Report of the Regional Director; 1. NOTES with satisfaction the manner in which the programme was planned and carried out in the period under review; 2. COMMENDS the Regional Director and his staff for the work accomplished and the preparation of a clear and concise account of WHO-assisted~ctivities in the Region. R2 ASSISTANCE TO THE KHMER REPUBLIC AND LAOS The Regional Committee, Having heard statements from the Representatives of the Khmer Republic and Laos relating to the urgent health problems which exist in their countries and which have increased as a result of the present emergencies; REQUESTS the Regional Director to give as much assistance to these countries as possible, within the resources available and as they are able to absorb effectively, taking into account the assistance already programmed in other areas.
