WPR/RC34.Rl8 INFANT AND YOUNG CHILD NVTRITION The Regional Committee, Recalling resolutions WHA33.32, WPR/RC32.Rll and WPR/RC33.Rl6; WHA34.32, WHA34.2i, WHA35.26, Having reviewed the report on action taken irt the field of infant artd young child nutrition and on the status of implementation of the International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes in Member States of the Western Pacific Region;l 1. URGES Member States to continue to give increased attention to national efforts for the improvement of infant and young child nutrition, including suitable measures to give effect to the International Code .of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes; 2.
