The Committee decided on “Protecting Human Health from Climate Change” as the subject for Technical Discussions to be held prior to the Sixty-second session of the Regional Committee in 2009. SEA/RC61(2) Nomination of a Member State to the Policy and Coordination Committee (PCC) of the WHO Special Programme for Research, Development and Research Training in Human Reproduction
The Committee nominated Sri Lanka as a member of the PCC for a period of three years effective 1 January 2009 and requested the Regional Director to inform WHO headquarters accordingly. SEA/RC61(3) Time and place of future sessions of the Regional Committee
The Committee decided to hold its Sixty-second session in Kathmandu, and confirmed the dates of the session as 7-10 September 2009.
