Gaming (Amendment) Act 1986 (repealed)

Section 16 of the Act of 1968 (provision of credit for gaming) shall be amended as follows.

In subsection (1), for the words " the next following subsection " there shall be inserted the words " subsections (2) and (2A) of this section ".

After subsection (2) there shall be inserted—.

In subsection (3), after the words " of this Act applies " there shall be inserted the words " or a substitute cheque ".

After subsection (3) there shall be inserted—.

In subsection (4), after the words " of this Act applies " there shall be inserted the words " or any substitute cheque. ".

At the end of subsection (5) there shall be inserted—.

In this Act, " the Act of 1968 " means the Gaming Act 1968.

This Act may be cited as the Gaming (Amendment) Act 1986.

This Act shall come into force on such day as the Secretary of State may by order made by statutory instrument appoint.

This Act does not extend to Northern Ireland.
