Act repealed (1. 4. 1991) by Enterprise and New Towns (Scotland) Act 1990 (c. 35), s. 38(2), Sch. 5 Pt. I; repeal brought into force on 1. 4. 1991 (i.e. on 'the first transfer date' as defined in s. 36(1) of that Act and as appointed by Order of the Secretary of State dated 1. 3. 1991).

Increase of financial limit.

In section 13(3) of the Scottish Development Agency Act 1975 (which sets out the limit on the aggregate of certain amounts outstanding as regards the Scottish Development Agency), for the words “£700 million” (which were substituted by section 2(1) of the Industry Act 1981) there shall be substituted the words “ £1,200 million ”.

Short title and extent.

This Act may be cited as the Scottish Development Agency Act 1987.

This Act extends to Scotland only.
