Pesticides (Fees and Enforcement) Act 1989

The following section shall be substituted for section 18 of the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985 (“the 1985 Act”)—

The following subsection shall be inserted after section 16(13) of the 1985 Act—

In section 25(2)(b)—

There shall be paid into the Consolidated Fund any increase attributable to this section in the sums falling to be paid into that Fund under section 23(3) of the 1985 Act.

The following subsections shall be substituted for subsection (1) of section 19 of the 1985 Act—

The following subsection shall be inserted after subsection (7) of that section—

Nothing in this section affects an authorisation under section 19 of the 1985 Act which was given before this section came into force.

This Act may be cited as the Pesticides (Fees and Enforcement) Act 1989.

Section 2 above shall come into force at the end of the period of two months beginning with the day this Act is passed.
