Citizenship (Armed Forces) Act 2014
Schedule 1 to the British Nationality Act 1981 (requirements for naturalisation as a British citizen under section 6(1) of that Act) is amended in accordance with subsections (2) and (3).
Paragraph 2 becomes sub-paragraph (1) of that paragraph.

in subsection (4) for the words from the beginning to “paragraph)” substitute “In sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph 2 of that Schedule”;

This Act may be cited as the Citizenship (Armed Forces) Act 2014.
This Act comes into force at the end of the period of two months beginning with the day on which it is passed.
This Act extends to—
England and Wales,
Scotland,
Northern Ireland,
the Channel Islands,
the Isle of Man, and
the British overseas territories.
