<subsection xmlns="http://docs.oasis-open.org/legaldocml/ns/akn/3.0" eId="section-2-6"><num>(6)</num><intro><p>A social services authority in England must, in the exercise of its social services functions—</p></intro><level class="para1" eId="section-2-6-a"><num>(a)</num><content><p>where it is also

<level xmlns="http://docs.oasis-open.org/legaldocml/ns/akn/3.0" class="para1" eId="section-2-6-b"><num>(b)</num><content><p>in any other case, have regard to the supported housing strategy of each local housing authority in respect of whose district it is the social services authority.</p></content>
<subsection xmlns="http://docs.oasis-open.org/legaldocml/ns/akn/3.0" eId="section-2-7"><num>(7)</num><intro><p>The Secretary of State may issue guidance—</p></intro><level class="para1" eId="section-2-7-a"><num>(a)</num><content><p>applicable to local housing authorities or social services authoriti

<level xmlns="http://docs.oasis-open.org/legaldocml/ns/akn/3.0" class="para1" eId="section-2-7-b"><num>(b)</num><content><p>applicable to specified descriptions of local housing authorities or social services authorities,</p></content></level>
<subsection xmlns="http://docs.oasis-open.org/legaldocml/ns/akn/3.0" eId="section-2-8"><num>(8)</num><content><p>A local housing authority or a social services authority must have regard to any guidance issued under <ref href="#section-2-7">subsection (7)</ref> that is applicable to it.</p></content
<subsection xmlns="http://docs.oasis-open.org/legaldocml/ns/akn/3.0" eId="section-2-9"><num>(9)</num><content><p>A statutory instrument containing regulations under this section is subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of Parliament.</p></content></subsection>
