Licence terms relating to indemnification of government etc
In the Space Industry Act 2018—
level section-1-a
in section 12 (terms of licences), in subsection (2), for “may” substitute “must”;
level section-1-b
in section 36 (obligation to indemnify government etc against claims), in subsection (3)(a), for “any” substitute “the”.
Extent, commencement and short title
subsection section-2-1
This Act extends to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
subsection section-2-2
The power under section 71(5) of the Space Industry Act 2018 may be exercised so as to extend to any of the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man or any British overseas territory any amendment made by this Act (with or without modifications).
subsection section-2-3
This Act comes into force at the end of the period of two months beginning with the day on which it is passed.

This Act may be cited as the Space Industry (Indemnities) Act 2025.
