<section xmlns="http://docs.oasis-open.org/legaldocml/ns/akn/3.0" xmlns:uk="https://www.legislation.gov.uk/namespaces/UK-AKN" xmlns:ukl="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/namespaces/legislation" eId="section-1"><num>1</num><heading> Validation of certain charges made by the Sea Fish Industry Authority.</heading><subsection eId="section-1-1"><num>(1)</num><content><p>The Sea Fish Industry Authority shall be taken to have had power to make such charges as were made by it in the administration of any of the schemes mentioned in subsection (2) or any of those schemes as amended; and the powers of Ministers of the Crown in connection with such schemes shall be construed accordingly.</p></content></subsection><subsection eId="section-1-2"><num>(2)</num><intro><p>The schemes are—</p></intro><level class="para1" eId="section-1-2-a"><num>(a)</num><content><p>the <noteRef href="#c879709" uk:name="commentary" ukl:Name="CommentaryRef" class="commentary"/>Fishing Vessels (Acquisition and Improvement) (Grants) Scheme 1976,</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="section-1-2-b"><num>(b)</num><content><p>the <noteRef href="#c879710" uk:name="commentary" ukl:Name="CommentaryRef" class="commentary"/>Fishing Vessels (Acquisition and Improvement) (Grants) Scheme 1981,</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="section-1-2-c"><num>(c)</num><content><p>the <noteRef href="#c879711" uk:name="commentary" ukl:Name="CommentaryRef" class="commentary"/>Fishing Vessels (Acquisition and Improvement) (Grants) Scheme 1987,</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="section-1-2-d"><num>(d)</num><content><p>the <noteRef href="#c879712" uk:name="commentary" ukl:Name="CommentaryRef" class="commentary"/>Fishing Vessels (Safety Improvements) (Grants) Scheme 1993, and</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="section-1-2-e"><num>(e)</num><content><p>the <noteRef href="#c879713" uk:name="commentary" ukl:Name="CommentaryRef" class="commentary"/>Fishing Vessels (Safety Improvements) (Grants) Scheme 1995.</p></content></level></subsection></section>

<section xmlns="http://docs.oasis-open.org/legaldocml/ns/akn/3.0" eId="section-3"><num>3</num><heading> Citation, application and extent.</heading><subsection eId="section-3-1"><num>(1)</num><content><p>This Act may be cited as the Sea Fishing Grants (Charges) Act 2000.</p></content></subsection><subsection eId="section-3-2"><num>(2)</num><content><p>This Act does not apply to any charges made after 3rd May 1996.</p></content></subsection><subsection eId="section-3-3"><num>(3)</num><content><p>This Act extends to Northern Ireland.</p></content></subsection></section>
