Box 579 Conakry, Republic of Guinea Re: Credit No. 1995-GUI (Socio-Economic Development Support Project) Amendment Excellency, Please refer to the development Credit Agreement (the Agreement), dated April 19, 1989 between the Republic of Guinea (the Borrower) and the International Development Association (the Association). Pursuant to your letter of December 1, 1992 (No. 0020/MPF/CAB/CSE/92), we are pleased to inform you that the Association agrees to amend the Agreement as follows: - The table set forth in paragraph 1 of Schedule 1 is revised to read in its entirety as set out in Attachment 1 hereto; - Part D of Schedule 2 is deleted; - Schedule 5, paragraph 1 (c), the words "an amount of $100,000" are replaced with the words "an amount of $150,000". Please confirm your agreement with this amendment of the Agreement by signing, dating and returning the form of confirmation on the enclosed copy of this letter. This amendment shall become effective upon receipt by the Association of the duly signed copy.
