Box M40 Accra, Ghana Amendment: Development Credit Agreement (National Electrification Project) Credit No. 2467 GH Dear Dr. Botchwey, We refer to the Development Credit Agreement (National Electrification Project) dated June 9, 1993, between the International Development Association (the Association) and the Republic of Ghana (the Borrower). Further to the discussions hold with the representatives of the Borrower, we are pleased to inform you that the Association hereby agrees to the following amendment to the above-referenced Development Credit Agreement: Category (4) of the table set forth in paragraph 1 of Schedule 1 is amended by replacing the figure "80,000" with "280,000". Please indicate your agreement with the foregoing by countersigning and dating the form of confirmation on the two original copies of this letter and returning one original, as countersigned, to us.
