Box 423 Maputo Mozambique Re: Credit No. 2066 MOZ Economic and Financial Management Technical Assistance Project Amendment to the Development Credit Agreement Dear Sir: We refer to the Development Credit Agreement (the Agreement) for the above-mentioned Project dated December 1, 1989, between the Republic of Mozambique (the Borrower) and the International Development Association (the Association) and to the consultations between yourselves and the Association's supervision missions. This letter is to inform you that the Association agrees to your request for amendment dated June 2, 1993 (Of. No. 136/G/93) and proposes the following amendment of paragraph 1, Schedule 1 to the Agreement: Amount of the Credit Allocated % of (Expressed in Expenditures Category SDR Equivalent) to be Financed (1) Civil works 30,000 100% of foreign under Part B(1)(e) expenditures of the Project (2) Equipment, vehicles, 100% of foreign computers, software expenditures and supplies: (a) MOF 200,000 (b) BOM 3,800,000 (3) Consultants' services 100% including audits: (a) MOF 1,100,000 (b) BOM 5,400,000 (4) Training: 100% (a) MOF: (i) under Parts A(1); 150,000 A(2); C(2)(a); and C(3)(a) of the Project; (ii) under Part A(3) 650,000 of the Project (b) BOM: Under Part B; C(2)(b); 1,120,000 Page 2 and C(3)(b) of the Project; (5) Operating Costs: 100% (a) MOF 30,000 (b) BOM 410,000 (6) Goods and services 110,000 100% of foreign under Parts A.2 (d); (e); expenditures and (f) of the Project (7) Refunding of 1,000,000 Amount due pursuant Project Preparation Advance to Section 2.02 (c) of this Agreement (8) Unallocated 2,500,000 TOTAL 16,500,000 All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
