International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) Board of Governors resolution ; no. 150 : membership of Dominican Republic

 INTERNATIONAL BANK FOR RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT BOARD OF GOVERNORS Resolution No. 150 Membership of Dominican Republic RESOLVED THAT: 1. Upon complying with the terms hereof, the Dominican Republic shall be readmitted to membership in the Bank on the same terms and conditions as if it had never withdrawn from membership therein and all rights and obligations of, or derived from, the Dominican Republic and the Bank in respect of such withdrawal shall thereupon cease and determine: (a) The Dominican Republic shall deposit with the Bank a request, in form and substance satisfactory to the Bank, that it be readmitted to membership in the Bank pursuant to, and with the effect set forth in, this Resolution; (b) The Dominican Republic shall deposit with the Government of the United States of America an instrument stating that, in accordance with its law the Dominican Republic: (i) reconfirms its signature to the Articles of Agreement of the Bank; (ii) has accepted all the provisions of this Resolution; (iii) reconfirms the Instrument of Acceptance filed by it with the Government of the United States on December 28, 1945; and (iv) has taken all steps necessary to enable it to carry out its obligations under said Articles and this Resolution; (c) The Dominican Republic shall furnish to the Bank, before the deposit of the instruments referred to in paragraphs (a) and (b) above, such information as the Bank shall have requested concerning the actions taken by it to authorize its readmission to membership in the Bank; and 2. The Dominican Republic may accept readmission to membership in the Bank pursuant to this resolution until March 30, 1962; provided, however, that, if extraordinary circumstances are deemed by the Executive Directors to warrant an extension of the period during which the Dominican Republic may accept membership pursuant to this resolution, the Executive Directors may extend such period.
