FIÈVRE JAUNE — La fièvre jaune a été signalée le 30 septembre, pour la première fois depuis près de six ans. La source de l’infection serait locale; 5 cas et 2 décès sont survenus à Tamale, district du Western Dagomba (Région du Nord). Au cours des dix dernières années, la fièvre jaune n ’a été signalée que deux fois dans le pays: en 1959, 2 cas et 2 décès se sont produits à Tema (Région d’Accra), en 1963, 1 cas et 1 décès dans le district de Kumasi (Région Ashanti) et 2 cas et 2 décès dans le district de Gonja (Région du Nord). YELLOW FEVER G hana . — On 30 September for the first time in almost six years

yellow fever was reported. The source of infection is reported to be local, and 5 cases and 2 deaths have occurred in Tamale in the Western Dagomba District, Northern Region. In the last ten years yellow fever has only been reported twice in the country: in 1959 2 cases and 2 deaths occurred in Tema, Accra Region: in 1963 one case and one death occurred in Kumasi District, Ashanti Region and 2 cases and 2 deaths in Gonja District, Northern Region.
