lufluenza New Zealand (31 July 1995).1 The number of influenza virus isolates continued to increase in July and was twice that of June. Influenza was reported from most parts of the country. Influenza B continued to predominate but the proportion of influenza A(H3N2) increased from 6% of all isolates in June to 16% in July. Influenza A(H3N2) was confirmed during an outbreak in a secondary school and influenza B in another outbreak in a nearby police college in Wellington at the end of July. *See No. 28, 1995, p. 208

Grippe Nouvelle-Zélande (31 juillet 1995).1Le nombre d’isolements de virus grippal a continué à s’accroître en juillet et représentait le double de celui de juin. La gnppe a été signalée dans la plupart des régions du pays. La gnppe B a continué à prédominer, mais là proportion de grippe A(H3N2) a passé de 6% du total des isole­ ments en juin à 16% en juillet.
