SMALLPOX F ederal R epublic of G ermany. — No secondary cases have been observed as a result of the case of smallpox imported into Hanover-Linden, Lower Saxony.1 Immediately the patient was suspected to have smallpox, all contacts were vaccinated and isolated for 14 days. The last of these contacts will be released on Sunday 16 April.

VARIOLE R épublique fédérale d ’A llemagne, — Aucun cas secondaire n ’a été observé à la suite du cas de variole importé à HanovreLinden en Basse-Saxe.1 Dès que l’on a soupçonné une atteinte de variole chez le malade, on a vacciné tous ses contacts et on les a isolés pendant deux semaines. Le dernier contact sera libéré le dimanche 16 avril.
