ENCOIRSF.3 the proposed program and Wdget for 1963 to be implemented from the Regular kdge t of the World Health Organization, the Expanded Program of Technical Assistance f h d s , the Malaria Eradication Special Account and the Special Account for C o d t y Water Supply; 2. EXPRESSES appreciation for the increased provision mde for projects i n such new and inportant f ields as mental health, colTrmnity water supply, nutrition, virology, cancer control, radiation and radioisotopes; 3. URGES Member States t o increase their efforts i n the establish- ment and development of national radiation protection programnes, and requests the Regional Director t o give due consideration to requests i n this field; 4. NOTES with satisfaction the prominence given in the programne t o the education and training of technical personnel and t o the control and eradication of coprmnicable diseases; 5. STRESSES agein the overall importance of inter-country progranme and 00-ordination activities; 6. THAMCS UNICEF for its omtimed support and oollaboration. September 1961
