URGES States Members of the Region t o organize within each of t h e i r Ministries of Health a special department t o deal par t icular ly with planning fo r r u r a l health and its integrat ion in to c o m n i t y development; 2. RECObPENDS the policy of regionalization of health work so t h a t a non-centralized autonomy is f i na l l y granted, not only a t the leve l of the province t u t a t the leve l of the health d i s t r i c t a s integrated i n com- munity development projects; 3. FiEQUESTS the Regional Director t o a s s i s t the Governments i n t h e i r e f fo r t s i n planning and evaluating ru r a l heal th projects, par t icular ly i n supplying expert advice.
