WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION FIFTY-FIFTH WORLD HEALTH ASSEMBLY Agenda item 6 A55/44 16 May 2002

Election of Members entitled to designate a person to serve on the Executive Board At its meeting on 15 May 2002, the General Committee, in accordance with Rule 102 of the Rules of Procedure of the Health Assembly, drew up the following list of 10 Members, in the English alphabetical order, to be transmitted to the Health Assembly for the purpose of the election of 10 Members to be entitled to designate a person to serve on the Executive Board: China Gabon Gambia Ghana Guinea Kuwait Maldives Russian Federation Spain United States of America In the General Committee’s opinion these 10 Members would provide, if elected, a balanced distribution on the Board as a whole.
