Having learnt the intention of the African countries of the Eaatenr Mediterranean Region t o leave the Region,
1. EXPRESSES i ts concern on this matter and its repercussions on the future of this Region:
2. BELIEVES that the question certainly needs further study and deliberation, particularly as the present structure of the Eaatern Mediterranean Region of the World Health Organization was based mainly on the similarity of public health problems;
3. REQUESTS the Oovenvnants of the ccuntries ooncerned t o give the subJect a l l due consideration before taking the steps towards implemen- tation.
