TIME AND PLACE OF FUTURE SESSIONS OF THE REGIONAL COMMITTEE
Background The annual session of the Regional Committee for South-East Asia is normally held in the second week of September each year so as not to overlap with the dates of regional committee sessions of other regions. Sixtieth session and onwards The Committee noted the invitations of the Governments of Bhutan and Nepal to host its sixtieth and sixty-second sessions in 2007 and 2009 respectively. The sixty-first session in 2008, which is the year for nomination of the Regional Director, would be held in the Regional Office. as follows: RC60 (2007) – Bhutan RC61 (2008) – Regional Office RC62 (2009) – Nepal Thus, the tentative schedule of future sessions of the Regional Committee is
