The CHAIRMAN presented the draft report of the thirty-first session of the Regional Committee for comment. He drew attention to an amendment to the second paragraph of section 14, in Part VI - regarding time and place of the thirty-second and thirty-third sessions of the Regional Committee. That paragraph should read "The Committee also decided that the thirty-third session should be held at regional headquarters in Manila for five or six continuous working days from Monday to Friday, or to Saturday if necessary." Dr NICHOLSON (United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) referred to section 1 in Part VI. The penultimate paragraph of that section should read "The representative of the United Kingdom referred to the importance of the Regional Committee's views on the subject being presented to the Programme Committee of the Executive Board in November 1980." Dr MINNERS (United States of America) moved that the draft report should be adopted, and Dr EVANS (Australia) seconded the motion. Decision: The draft resolution, as amended, was adopted (see resolution WPR/RC3l.R30). 3. RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION Dr KOH (Singapore) presented a draft resolution of appreciation. Decision: The draft resolution was adopted unanimously (see resolution WPR/RC3l.R3l).
