Doc./5 21 June 2005 53662 ORIGINAL: ENGLISH Strengthening European health systems as a continuation of the WHO Regional Office for Europe's Country Strategy "Matching services to new needs" The Regional Committee, Recalling previous re olution of the Regional Committee on cooperation with countries, in particular resolution EUR/RC50/R5 on the WHO Regional Office for Europe' Country Strategy "Matching service to new needs", and the principles outlined in the WHO Country focus initiative (document EB 111/33); Mindful of the discussions and comment at the fifty-fourth se sion of the Regional Committee on further developing and increasing the effectiveness of the Country Strategy to nable countrie to trengthen their health y tem ; Having reviewed document EUR/RC55/9 "Next pha e of the WHO Regional Office for Europe' s Country Strategy: Strengthening health y tems"; l .
