EPIDETIIOIOGTCAL ilt.r'IT Ivermectin Distribution - Passively and Actively, as welf as i{ealth Education constituted the main activities of this unjit. Three (1) i"lass campaigns of rvermectin Ilistribution inTaia, Gbamgbaia and Jong River Basins r,/ere caried out by theNational Team r.rith O.C.P. Supervisron. A total of Ll5r6e9people were censored and 77 11A6 patients treated. in these Campaigns resulting in art overa-l-l coverage of 65.9',o. A total of 105 iieal-th Institutions (Governrnent and Non- Governmenta-l-) with contribution frorn National Tealn }iembers in the-three Bases, distributed a totai of 122.52 tabl-ets, treated 741692 patients in the process. Iansar Eye Hospital- not incl-udedin the aforementioned figures, alone disnensed l18r7r7 tablets and treated 10) 1754 catients.
