REQUEsrS the Regional Director to implement as many of the projects in the supplementary list as possible and that in so doing he should take into consideration not only the general priorities recommended by the Regional Committee at its ninth session but also those recommended by the World Health Assembly and that assistance should be given to developing rather than developed countries. NarES the projects proposed by governments in the Western Pacific Region for implementation under the Expanded Programme of Technical Assistancej 2. REITERATES its previous opinion that much benefit can be derived from inter-country programmes; and Considering that the following projects can best be carried out on an inter-country basis: Conference on rural health services Nursing administration seminar Food sanitation seminar, 3. RECOMMENDS that Member governments wishing to partiCipate in any of the above projects should indicate their support when submitting their 1961 country submissions to the Technical Assistance Board; 4. EXPRESSES the hope that these projects .rill be approved by the Technical Assistance Board and Technical Assistance Committee; and 5. EXPRESSES its concern at the smaller amounts allotted to health activities; and 2.
