Appointment of the Regional Director for South-East Asia The Executive Board, Considering the provisions of Article 52 of the Constitution of the World Health Organization; Considering the nomination made by the Regional Committee for South-East Asia at its sixty-sixth session, 1. APPOINTS Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh as Regional Director for South-East Asia as from 1 February 2014; 2. AUTHORIZES the Director-General to issue to Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh a contract for a period of five years from 1 February 2014 subject to the provisions of the Staff Regulations and Staff Rules; 3. AUTHORIZES the Director-General to amend the conditions of employment of Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh as follows: “You will not participate in the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund but will instead receive as a monthly supplement the contribution that the Organization would have paid each month to the Pension Fund had you been a participant”.
