<subsection xmlns="http://docs.oasis-open.org/legaldocml/ns/akn/3.0" eId="section-1-1"><num>(1)</num><content><p>This section has effect for the purposes of section 8 of the European Union Act 2011 (decisions under Article 352 of <abbr title="the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union">TFEU</abbr>).</p></content></subsection>

<subsection xmlns="http://docs.oasis-open.org/legaldocml/ns/akn/3.0" eId="section-1-2"><num>(2)</num><intro><p>The following draft decisions of the Council of the European Union under Article 352 of <abbr title="the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union">TFEU</abbr> are approved—</p></intro><level class="para1" eId="section-1-2-a"><num>(a)</num><content><p>the draft decision on the participation of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia as an observer in the work of the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (document number 11416/1/14), and</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="section-1-2-b"><num>(b)</num><content><p>the draft decision on a Tripartite Social Summit for Growth and Employment (document number 5820/14).</p></content></level></subsection>

<subsection xmlns="http://docs.oasis-open.org/legaldocml/ns/akn/3.0" eId="section-1-3"><num>(3)</num><content><p>In this section “<abbr title="the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union">TFEU</abbr>” means the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union.</p></content></subsection>
