Ministerial salaries
In paragraph 2 of Part 5 of Schedule 1 to the Ministerial and other Salaries Act 1975 (maximum number of salaries that may be paid in respect of certain Ministerial offices)—
level section-1-a
in paragraph (a) (Secretaries of State), for “21” substitute “22”;
level section-1-b
in paragraph (b) (Secretaries of State and Ministers of State), for “50” substitute “54”;
level section-1-c
in paragraph (c) (Secretaries of State, Ministers of State and Parliamentary Secretaries), for “83” substitute “94”.
Extent, commencement and short title
subsection section-2-1
This Act extends to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
subsection section-2-2
This Act comes into force on the day on which it is passed.
subsection section-2-3
This Act may be cited as the Ministerial Salaries (Amendment) Act 2026.
