T he follow ing note appears at the beginning o f the C e rtifi cate: “T h e requirem ent for an international certificate o f cholera vaccination was removed from the International H ealth Regula tions in 1973. I f vaccination against cholera is perform ed, it can be entered in the space provided fo r ‘O ther vaccinations’ in this booklet, as is the case fo r other vaccinations.’’
A u début du C ertificat figure l ’avertissement suivant: « L ’exigence d’un certificat international de vaccination contre le choléra a été supprimée du Règlement sanitaire international en 1973. Si la vaccination contre le choléra est pratiquée, elle peut être indiquée dans ce carnet sous «Autres vaccinations», comme toute autre vaccina tio n .»

T h e responsible officers in national health services are now being requested to issue the necessary instructions to health con tro l posts at th e ir frontiers. T h e Certificate is sold only in packets o f SO, and orders should be sent directly to D istrib ution and Sales, W H O , 1211 Geneva 27, Sw itzerland.
