THANKS the Standing Committee for its work and commends the members on their commitment on behalf of the Regional Committee; 2. INVITES the Standing Committee to pursue its work on the basis of the discussions held and resolutions adopted by the Regional Committee at its forty-eighth session; 3. REQUESTS the Regional Director to take action, as appropriate, on the conclusions and proposals contained in the report of the Standing Committee taking fully into account the changes agreed by the Regional Committee at its forty-eighth session as contained in the record.
