DENGUE HAEMORRHAGIC FEVER
FIÈVRE HÉMORRAGIQUE DENGUE
Burma. — During the three-month period June-August 1974, 1 302 cases of dengue haemorrhagic fever were treated at the Chil dren’s Hospital, Rangoon. In June, there were 206 cases with 22 deaths, in July, 400 cases and 40 deaths and in August, 696 cases with 34 deaths. The cumulative total since the beginning of the year is 1 343 cases and 109 deaths.
Birmanie. — Au cours des trois mois de juin à août 1974, le Children’s Hospital de Rangoon a traité 1 302 cas de fièvre hémorra gique dengue. La répartition mensuelle s’établit comme suit: juin, 206 cas dont 22 mortels; juillet, 400 cas dont 40 mortels; août, 696 cas dont 34 mortels. Le total pour la période janvier-août atteint 1 343 cas dont 109 mortels.
