The terms of office of the members of the Executive Board designated by the Governments of Japan and Seychelles will expire at the closure of the Thirty-seventh World Health Assembly. 4. Following the precedent established by previous Health Assemblies, the Thirty-seventh World Health Assembly may wish to appoint its new representatives on the WHO Staff Pension Committee from among the members of the Executive Board by selecting the names of two Member States entitled to designate a person to serve oil the B o a r d . The practice of the Assembly in the past has been to ensure that all WHO regions are equitably represented on the WHO Staff Pension Committee. The Assembly has therefore always selected Member States from regions no longer represented on the Committee. 5. The action required of the Health Assembly is thus a decision appointing the members of the Executive Board designated by a Member State from the Western Pacific Region and a Member State from the African Region - the two regions no longer represented 一 as member and alternate member of the WHO Staff Pension Committee,
