Notes: a) The WHO scale of assessment for 2000 and 2001, when adopted, was based on the latest available United Nations scale, i.e. the United Nations scale of assessment for 2000. b) The percentages are obtained by comparing the total of the contribution amount and of the relief amount paid from miscellaneous income, if any, for each country, to the total approved regular budget for 2002-2003, namely, US$ 842 654 000. c) At the time the United Nations scale for 2001-2003 was adopted, Switzerland was not a Member of the United Nations but nevertheless participated in certain of its activities.
