An Act to make provisions for fisheries for lobsters and other crustaceans.

Be it enacted by the Queen’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Power to make orders as to fisheries for lobsters and other crustaceans.

Section 1(1) of the Sea Fisheries (Shellfish) Act 1967 (which enables the Secretary of State to make orders as to fisheries for shellfish) is amended as follows.

After “clams” there is inserted “ , lobsters ”.

After “molluscs” there is inserted “ or crustaceans ”.

Short title and extent.

This Act may be cited as the Sea Fisheries (Shellfish) (Amendment) Act 1997.

This Act does not extend to Northern Ireland.
