For section 26(1) of the Vehicle Excise and Registration Act 1994 (c. 22) (retention of registration mark pending transfer) substitute—

In subsection (2) of that section—

in paragraph (a), for “such a right (a “right of retention”)” substitute “ a right of retention ”;
level section-1-2-b
in paragraph (f), for “subsection (1)” substitute “ subsection (1A) ”.
subsection section-1-3
In section 62(1) of that Act (other definitions), in the definition of “right of retention”, for “(2)(a)” substitute “ (1A) ”.
Short title
This Act may be cited as the Vehicle Registration Marks Act 2007.
