Zoological Society of London (Leases) Act 2024
<section xmlns="http://docs.oasis-open.org/legaldocml/ns/akn/3.0" eId="section-1"><num>1</num><heading>Maximum term of leases for Zoological Society of London</heading><content><p><mod>In section 7(2) of the Crown Estate Act 1961 (power of the Secretary of State to grant leases to the Zoological Society of London in relation to certain land in Regent’s Park), for “sixty years” substitute <quotedText>“150 years”</quotedText>.</mod></p></content></section>
<section xmlns="http://docs.oasis-open.org/legaldocml/ns/akn/3.0" eId="section-2"><num>2</num><heading>Extent, commencement and short title</heading><subsection eId="section-2-1"><num>(1)</num><content><p>This Act extends to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.</p></content></subsection><subsection eId="section-2-2"><num>(2)</num><content><p>This Act comes into force at the end of the period of two months beginning with the day on which it is passed.</p></content></subsection><subsection eId="section-2-3"><num>(3)</num><content><p>This Act may be cited as the Zoological Society of London (Leases) Act 2024.</p></content></subsection></section>
